Smoked St. Louis Style Maple Glazed BBQ Ribs!

Sometimes we all just need a little SLOW roasted BBQ to tame the soul. I got the idea for these ribs from, and their take on Maple Cayenne Ribs.

What you'll need:
  • 1 BIG slab of St. Louis style ribs
For the RUB:
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper

For the Glaze:
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 1/4 c. Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. ketsup
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
To prepare:
  • Preheat your charcoal grill for indirect grilling
  • Mix all of the rub ingredients together and rub both sides of the ribs with your hands
  • Place ribs on the grill over the indirect heat. Close the lid and cook for 4 hours at 250 degrees F.
  • Mix all glaze ingredients together, and simmer for 15 minutes
  • Glaze the ribs 10 -15 minutes before taking the off the grill. the Ribs are done when the meat has shrunk off about 1 inch from the bones. 
  • Cover the ribs, let them sit for 15 minutes before serving!
